Whistler, Wine
Cheaper to buy the bottle and option to take home the glass

Driving here is so beautiful, you can't imagine it getting any better....and then you arrive at Whistler Wines.

Situated in the Barossa Valley, you immediately feel the family vibe, both in the service from the family owners and operators and the playground area on the left as you drive in.

With the playground and a variety of sports equipment available in the open, outdoor area, you know that enjoying a wine will be a relaxing, peaceful and enjoyable experience, while still being able to supervise the kids.

If you are unsure which wine you would love to enjoy in this serene environment, wine tastings are available inside the cellar door, with the children's comfort also being considered inside with toys and a colouring area.

Once that all important decision has been made, marry it with a selection of goods from the larder and create your own platter. Drinks for the children are also available for purchase.

The fresh air and being surrounded by nature is certainly one reason to come back but a delicious wine and wonderful people in an environment that makes your whole family feel welcome is THE reason.

Fantastic article Shannon - you've sold me (and my 11yo son): hopefully Whistler Wines will pave the way for other wineries to follow with similar concepts.
