Whiskey Live has been bringing together the best whiskies with good food, entertainment and education in many countries including Australia , China, Japan, Netherlands , UK and Belgium every year. This popular whisky tasting and sample event will return to Singapore on 25 October with the promise of rare and sought after whiskies from top producers and distillers.

Organised by La Maison du Whisky since 2010, the Singapore edition has been serving the high local and regional demand with prestigious and celebrated whiskies from legendary distilleries as well as releases from innovative new producers from all over the world.

Held at the Raffles Hotel, Whisky Live offers an ideal platform for experts, enthusiasts and novices to experience a selection of the world's best whiskies and spirits. The event will be spread across the hotel's Bar and Billiard Room, Palm Garden, East India Room and Longbar Steakhouse. Here are some of the 2014 highlights to thrill Whisky aficionados and beginners around the island.

  • Southeast Asia's largest whisky and spirit show is an extravaganza of the best of whiskies and spirits. You can meet and taste the 70 brands gathered for the 2014 Singapore edition. Some of the brands include GlenDronach, Kilchoman, Lagavulin, Kavalan, Nikka, Monkey 47, Diplomatico, Babicka, Sonoma County Rye, Dry Fly, Dictador, New Grove and more.

  • The newly dedicated 'Collector Room' celebrates the rarest and most acclaimed brands. This section will showcase 40 exceptional bottles of the world's rarest, oldest and most acclaimed whiskies.
