Where’s the Best Restaurant on Henley Beach Road?
Henley Beach Road runs through a few suburbs and is home to various restaurants where you can enjoy delicious food. The restaurants cover a wide range of dining options and cuisines.
A popular spot with the locals,
Yuna is where you can enjoy delicious Japanese cuisine. A dish that we enjoyed was the Shiozake Salmon Chazuke, a dish consisting of tea-infused broth poured over a bowl of rice. We liked the subtle taste of the tea-infused broth and the salmon that was juicy and firm.

If you are looking for delicious yum cha,
Little Canton Restaurant offers a wide selection, featuring both those familiar to most Australians and more unique options. One of the unique options that we tasted was the Steamed Sticky Rice Roll, effectively a fusion of Lo Mai Gai (Sticky Rice in Lotus Leaves) and Steamed Chinese Bun.

While it can be a bit hard to spot,
Latte Studio offers cafe-style dishes, some of which have Korean influences. A dish that we enjoyed there was the Chilli Tofu Scramble, a vegetarian take on scrambled eggs, with smashed tofu cooked in a chilli sauce that was not too spicy.

If you prefer cafe food with a more Western flair, there is
Pixie and the Hawk . Their Get Ready to Rrreuben was an interesting take on the Reuben sandwich, consisting of fried mortadella and beetroot sauerkraut in a bagel that was not too chewy.

Located in the same complex as Yuna,
Angel Thai Restaurant is where you can enjoy delicious Thai cuisine. One of our favourite dishes is Angel’s Eggplant, featuring deep-fried pieces of eggplant topped with chicken mince in a sauce that has a similar taste to sweet and sour sauce.

For those that like Mediterranean cuisine, there is
Saray Restaurant . Their Mixed Meal is a great option to try out their grilled meat dishes, which feature skewers of minced lamb, lamb and chicken. Garlic sauce, salsa, flat bread and your choice of rice or bulgur helped to make the dish a complete meal.

The Mile End Hotel is notable in that some of their dishes feature native Australian ingredients such as saltbush. One of such dishes was Lemon Myrtle Chicken Breast. The namesake herb imparted its distinctive flavour to the chicken. Also part of the dish were roasted carrots that retained their texture, and cashew crema that partnered well with the chicken.

For more familiar pub-style food, there is
Hotel Royal . Their Chicken Schnitzel had succulent flesh set off by a crisp crumb, and chips that were fluffy seasoned with the right amount of salt. This dish can be ordered as a half or full-sized schnitzel to suit your appetite.

Crossover Vietnamese Restaurant offers Vietnamese dishes that range from those suitable for a single diner and larger dishes ideal for sharing. A dish that we particularly enjoyed was their Tea Smoked Duck, which had tender smoky flesh set off by crisp skin. It had a notable presentation to allow diners to take in the smoky aroma of the dish.

Some of the other places that we had delicious food were
PhoEver99 and
T Thai Cuisine .
