Throughout Adelaide, more and more big brands are opening factory outlets, inviting bargain hunters with their best prices. Start your savings with this selection of Adelaide's top factory outlets.
Harbour Town is Adelaide's premier factory outlet site, bursting with brand names at 727 Tapleys Hill Road, West Beach, open every day and closing late on Thursdays.

Sheridan, the Australian manchester company, first opened in 1967, selling quality quilts, sheets, pillows, bath towels, robes, cushions, throw rugs and now pajamas, leathergoods and loungewear. Their outlet at 101 Glen Osmond Road, Eastwood has this full range but also features heavily discounted out-of-season and discontinued products. Visit their deals page for some fantastic offers, including half-price or better on high thread count sheets and quilts. They're open till 5pm Monday – Saturday and Sunday 12pm – 4pm.
Haigh's Chocolates, Australia's oldest (and best) chocolate maker for over 100 years, is a favourite, especially judging by the long queues at Easter and Christmas in their stores in Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney. They create:
- chocolate bars, including caramel, hazelnut praline, cherry, nougat, vanilla fudge and milk peppermint - novelties, including frogs, freckles, bilbys, teddy bears and Murray cod shaped - block chocolate, with flavours of fruit and nut, dark, honeycomb, orange and ginger - loose chocolate individual pieces with dozens of flavours ranging from dark mulled wine, salted caramel, turkish delight and Cointreau truffle to cherry and coconut cluster, dark almond vanilla and rum and raisin The top choice for favourite friends and family has a guided tour with free tastings at their factory at 154 Greenhill Road, Parkside. You can also stock up on all your favourites, with special discounts for factory seconds and discontinued lines. Tours are on hold during Christmas but the factory is still open, catering for the Xmas rush. They are open 8am – 7pm on weekdays, closing at 5pm on weekends.
Best Bricks and Pavers is a local company producing pavers, blocks, tiles and granite sections for kitchens, bathrooms, driveways, swimming pools, roofs, garden landscaping and DIY construction. Their outlet at 255-259 Cormack Rd, Wingfield stocks a range of top grade blocks and pavers but also has a seconds yard with discontinued or recycled stone, perfect for buying quality on a budget. They're open Monday – Friday 7.30am – 5pm and Saturday 8am – 1pm.
Amorini stocks world class kitchen, laungry and office counter tops and cabinet units with soft close drawers and high gloss, painted doors. Our top importer of these items, they supply to the building industry but also offer this outlet store for brand new surplus stock, custom-selected for your desired room dimensions and design. Send them your requirements via email or phone and they'll assemble the high-quality European cabinetry, ready for quick installation in your home – no need for baffling Ikea-style instructions and clumsy Allen keys. Visit them at 12 Deeds Road, Camden Park Monday – Thursday 11am – 4.30pm, closing at 4pm on Friday.
The Miele Clearance Centre offers big discounts on Miele's high quality range of German-engineered appliances, including ovens, refrigerators, vacuum cleaners, coffee machines and dishwashers. Regularly winning industry awards and topping Choice magazine reviews, unboxed Miele products are now available at their Clearance Centre at with a range of special deals and offers. Visit them at 5d Butler Boulevard, Adelaide Airport from 8.30am – 4.30pm on weekdays.
Melba's Chocolates produces the famous Inch Block Licorice, chocolate bars, blocks and balls. They also have speciality choc-flavoured frogs, cow pats (why?) and dinosaurs and racing cars. At their factory at 22 Henry Street, Woodside you can watch the magical process as chocolates take shape through the depositing room, cooling tunnel and panning room. You can also enjoy their treats with a coffee at the cafe and buy batches of chocolate and factory seconds at great prices. The factory is open from 9am – 4.30pm every day.
