It's that time of year when two things are guaranteed – the kids will (try) and start behaving in anticipation of a visit from Santa, and there will be fireworks!
Here are some of the places you will be able to find fireworks for both New Year's Eve (Saturday December 31st, 2016) and Australia Day (Thursdays 26th January, 2017)

Northbridge
More pyrotechnics than fireworks, there will be a huge family-friendly event in Northbridge starting at 4pm with a free Frozen singalong, aerial shows, two stages with live music, Bizircus, beatboxing and more. The pyrotechnics display will bring in the New year at midnight.

Mandurah New Years Eve
MandurahThere will be a huge, free family friendly event with plenty of entertainment in the lead up to not one, but two fireworks displays. There will be a special youth zone (11 and 25 years), rides and games, markets stalls, food vans and more. The fireworks will take place at both 9pm and midnight.

Rockingham New Years Eve
RockinghamRockingham puts on a big evening of live music and entertainment, rides and two fireworks displays. This huge event is smoke and alcohol free and is a popular event for thousands of families.

NYE at Rottnest
Rottnest
Those on Rotto will have an afternoon of free entertainment in the lead up to an early fireworks display at 9pm. There will be stage shows and roving performers, glow-in-the-dark face painters, a silent disco, a pop-up food village and live music.

Gloucester Park
Unlike all the other events, this one is not free but your $99 ticket provides not only a spectacular fireworks display but an evening of canapes, a drink on arrival, live bands and all the fun of the races.

Armadale Australia
AUSTRALIA DAY 2017
Skyworks (ie South Perth, Kings Park, Perth City)
With a full day of free entertainment including air shows, water shows, concerts, food markets and more in locations across South Perth and the city, the Skyshow will take place at 8pm over the Swan River with great viewing locations in Kings Park, South Perth and Perth foreshore.

Armadale
The celebrations in Armadale start at 5pm and run to 9pm including a spectacular fireworks closing event. There will be easy, family friendly activities including a water park, amusements and rides as well as food stalls and live music and entertainment.
