Love waking up to go on an adventure. My motto is to collect memories not possessions.
A Great Farm Experience
Where Pigs Fly is a beautiful Farm and Animal Sanctuary located on 100 acres in Laguna in the lower Hunter Valley. The sanctuary is home to rescued cows, pigs, sheep, goats and other farm animals - each with a special story. Click here to meet some of the fabulous farm animals. All the animals are free to be themselves - living a wonderful, farmy life.
The Sanctuary Open Day provides a great opportunity for the whole family to visit a working farm and get up close to some of these fabulous animals. To be held on Saturday 19 March 2016, 11.00am to 3.00pm the open day is a rockin day for anyone who loves animals.
The day will comprise a stack of great activities including:
Sanctuary tours (where you meet the animals and hear their stories)
Amazing cruelty-free fare from Herbisaurus
The opportunity to visit a working farm.
All proceeds will go to fund the Sanctuary and help them to rescue more farm animals. Spots are sure to fill up fast so register now - wpfopendaymarch.eventbrite.com.au. Adults are $20.00 and kids (under 10) are free!
You can also sign up to their email updates or follow them on Facebook so you are always in the know. More Open Days are coming up as well as opportunities to volunteer.
If you can't make the Open Day, you can make a direct donation to the farm or why not purchase some farm merchandise for someone special this Easter?
I hope you have a great day visiting this very special Sanctuary.
