Meh... I dunno... I rented in Dulwich (Burnside-adjacent) and really enjoyed it. I liked the cafes at Burnside Village, and that everyone was well-dressed made it easy-on-the-eye.
I've also lived in Elizabeth and Love the Shopping there. The public transport to the northern suburbs is superb!
I loved living in the Western suburbs, from Thebarton to Semaphore... Easy access to city and beach.
Athelstone was quaint, though a bit too far from the CBD...
Rostrevor was nice for a while, too...
Hmm. From visiting Hallett Cove, I love Hallett Cove; the rolling green hills, the coast...
Every area has something good going for it. You just have to be open to see what it has to offer.
