The Gold Coast is not only known for its resorts and beaches. The Gold Coast is also well known for its quality shopping centres. Where exactly is the best place to go shopping on the Gold Coast? It all depends on you and on what you want.
For a more kid friendly shopping space, with a combination of an inside mall and an outdoor playground, Pacific Fair Shopping Centre at Broadbeach is ever so popular among the locals and the visitors to the Gold Coast. The place is so busy, and sometimes you need to circle the place twice to ensure you have not missed anything.
There is also room for entertainment at Pacific Fair too
In July there is some ice skating action for the kids called Fro Zone Fun, and what is also great about Pacific Fair, is that transport is not an issue. You can easily hail a cab in the underground car park should you need one, and the Surfside buses drop you right outside and pick you up at the same point.
Personally, I had my eye on this particular dress at Myer at the sales on in Sydney, but unfortunately the dress did not come in my size, yet on a recent visit to the Gold Coast, the very same dress was available at Myer inside Pacific Fair that was my size for the right price. I am so happy.
There are plenty of good cafes, and a hub for chocolate lovers. There is even a cinema, as well as a couple of chill out areas. In the chill out areas at Pacific Fair, you would be forgiven for thinking that you're not at a shopping centre, and that you are outdoors meditating. Futhermore, there is a hub where you can get rid of your old books and pass them onto others. On the other hand, there are other books you can pick up, read and return.
The kids playground is great too. Australia Fair at Southport is also a quality shopping centre overlooking the Marina.
At Main Beach, Marina Mirage is a small but quality shopping centre on the Gold Coast. The staff are ever so helpful, and there are great places to eat here. Service is personalised, and if you're lucky, you can nab yourself a cheap yoga class at Lorna Jane for only $10.
Where is the best place to go shopping on the Gold Coast and why? Looking forward to your comments.
Robina Town Centre for me. It has all the shops, nail bars, eateries etc. Not too big to get around for a 'Senior '. Plenty of seating around the shopping area, if I need to give my feet a rest. The Cinema is also first class.
