Ten Pin Bowling is an activity that can be done at any age, in any weather and for any occasion. The only think that really deters people is the price. So where are the cheapest venues?

The following is a list of your options in Sydney (if you just want to get right to the point, the cheapest prices are at Seven Ten Split near the bottom of the list).

AMF
AMF has more venues around the city than any other company, so it's probably the one that most people visit. Head there today and you will pay $14.90 for adults and $12.90 for children (an extra $2.00 applies for shoe hire too).

Locations: Blacktown, Castle Hill, Dee Why, Hornsby, Liverpool, Illawarra, Penrith, North Strathfield, Rooty Hill, Southgate and Villawood

Bowlarama Wetherill Park
At Bowlarama Wetherill Park, one game for kids costs $13.00, two games is $20.00 and any extras are $5.00. For adults, a single game costs $15.00, while two are $25.00. Again, extras are $5.00. In the school holidays, games are only $5.00 for children.

Location: Wetherill Park

Campbelltown City Bowl
One of the cheaper options anywhere, at Campbelltown City Bowl kids pay $10.00 for one game, $17 for two, then $24.00 and $28.00 for more. Adults pay $12.00 for one game, $22.00 for two, $30.00 for three and $36.00 for four games.

Location: Leumeah

Kingpin Bowling
Kingpin Bowling has two locations in Sydney and the prices vary between the venues. There also vary throughout the week, but do include shoe hire.

At Campbelltown, from 10.00am to 6.00pm, both adults and children pay $11.00 for one game and $18.00 for two. From 6.00pm, Sunday to Thursday, children's prices stay the same as they are during the day, but adult prices rise to $12.00 for one game and $22.00 for two games. On Friday and Saturday evenings child prices are $12.00 for one game and $20.00 for two, while for adults it's $14.00, or $26.00 for two games.

n Darling Harbour, day sessions for children cost $12.00 for one game and $18.00 for two games. Adults pay $14.00 for one game and $24.00 for two. On evenings between Sunday and Thursday, children pay $12.00 for one game and $20.00 for two, while adults pay $16.00 and $28.00 respectively. On Friday and Saturday evenings, regardless of age, sessions cost $18.00 for one game and $34.00 for two.

Any extra games are $8.00 regardless of age, time or venue.

Location: Darling Harbour and Campbelltown

Manhattan Superbowl
One game at Manhattan Superbowl costs $16.00 for adults, with two costing $26.00 and three $30.00. For kids, the prices are $13.00 for one game, $21.00 for two and $25.00 for three. On Friday and Saturday evenings, from 6.00pm, these prices are a little higher, with adults paying $17.00, and then $28.00 and $35.00 if the want more. Children pay $15.00 for a single game, $25.00 for two and $30.00 three. Shoe hire is free here.

Seven Ten Split
Prices at 710 Split are $10.00 per game, regardless of age. It gets even cheaper if you're a Club 710 member.

Location: Fairfield

Strathfield Superbowl
Visitors to Strathfield Superbowl will pay $14.00 for one game if they're an adult, or $19.00 for two games and $23.00 for three games. There are quite a few other categories--children under 14, children under 6, students and seniors--so I won't list them all, but you can find them (here.

Location: South Strathfield

Strike Bowling
With five different locations in Sydney, Strike is another big company (it also has other activities like laser tag, karaoke, escape rooms and more). Bowling is cheaper during the day here, costing $12.00 for one game and $20.00 for two games, between 10.00am and 4.00pm. Night bowling costs $14.00 for one game and $26.00 for two games.

Locations: Chatswood, Charlestown, Sydney - Moore Park, Sydney - Kings Street Wharf and North Ryde

Unfortunately, as with an activity, prices are always on the increase. The ones listed here are correct as of February 2015. If the situation changes and you notice another company has the best offer, let everyone know before (and also let me know if I missed anyone out).
