It's not where you think it is, you might be pleasantly surprised. Sydney, we know we love a good pampering session, and there are many ways we can enjoy such pampering on a budget, and in style too. Who would have thought that style and budgeting go hand in hand without having to do these things yourself? Clever but true. At Raw Hair by Anthony Nader at Darlinghurst, you can nab yourself a quality wash and blow dry for $20 a pop. What's the catch you might ask? Your blow dry is simply given by one of their first year apprentices, yet they do a mighty fine job. The salon is not open on any given Sunday or Monday either.

The love begins right outside Raw Hair

The beauty about their first year apprentices such as Chloe is that they're lovely people and passionate about hairdressing. They're taught and mentored to give you one stylish blow dry by the very best, including famous Anthony Nader himself. Due to this, they don't need to spend a day away from the salon like many other hairdressing apprentices have to, and wash dolls' hair for that matter.

The great news is, your blow dry is given in heavenly aesthetics, without being dragged downstairs in a corner or anything like that. For a cheap $20 wash and blow dry at Raw Hair, you're still being treated like royalty. You're given a spring water bottle like everyone else, and you also get equal access to the current issues of Vogue and BAZAAR to name, as well as your own private TV screen. Such a day spa feeling.

Furthermore, who would have thought that Sydney's cheapest blow dry will enable you to enjoy a chair massage while your hair is being washed in zen like settings. It's easy to fall asleep, especially when your hair is being massaged from top to toe. Definitely a win-win all round. You get all of this class and a stunning blow dry for only $20 a pop, and you're helping someone else out towards becoming a self sufficient hairdresser of the future. You're not too much at a time disadvantaged either. Score.

Gome of cheap hair washes and blow dry experiences by quality 1st year apprentices

Like with many other salons across the country, there are a couple that offer a free blow dry, yet they're rare. Yours truly has not come across any other place that charges $20 or less for a good, decent blow dry on a budget.

Double score. Is there anywhere else in Sydney that offers a cheap blow dry for $20 or below? If so please share with all of us.
