Everyone has a great local Thai place they brag about to all their friends. Whether you're calling in for a flavour-packed dinner or just tucking into some takeaway at home, there's a tasty Thai dish to keep you happy all year round.
Thai 1
My pick: Epping's Pent Thai.

The Sydney WeekendNotes team has put a number of Thai restaurants to the test, including Papaya Thai, Thai on Wok, Thai Foon and Satang Thai.

The inner west suburb of Newtown is legendary for its array of Thai establishments, some of which I'm sure will feature in this poll. Check out this WeekendNotes review of Newtown's Thai restaurants to get a taste of what they have to offer.
Thai 2
Sydney is home to hundreds of Thai restaurants.

I also can't resist putting in a shout-out to my favourite, Pent Thai in Epping. I've wolfed down countless massaman and green curries from this place over the years, not to mention the obligatory pad thais and spring rolls.
Thai 3
Where do you think Sydney's best Thai is?

I may be biased, but I reckon you'd be hard pressed to find a better Thai restaurant in Sydney. However, considering Sydney is home to hundreds of Thai eateries, I'm sure there will be plenty of you with your own pick.

Where do you think Sydney's best Thai food is?

Longrain is by far the best for somewhere upmarket. For reasonably priced authentic Thai food, you can't beat Spice I Am in Wentworth St Surry Hills.

I've had some really delicious authentic dishes at Cozy Thai in Wahroonga, not to mention some more unusual dishes such as fried chicken with sticky tamarind caramel coating, which sounds a little odd but was actually really yummy. Very nice people and efficient service too.

I believe that a place called Nood Noodle Bar
in Balmain is Sydney's best thai restaurant.
But you will have to find out for yourselves just like I did from my friends who then in turn were then told by their friends and so on............
