A cold beer on a hot Summers day - can it get any better than that?
A good beer garden is the place to be with a spot of lunch, maybe a playground to occupy the kids, some music and great conversation.

Where is your favorite place to head to when the weather warms up and you and your mates are after a gentle ease in to Sunday afternoon?

I have two favourites. I love Newport Arms in Sydney's North overlooking the water. It just can't be beaten for a family friendly spot while away a few hours with good pub food and a children's play area.

Oatley Hotel in Sydney's South is another favourite offering great pizza and relaxing music out the back in their recently renovated beer garden area. They also welcome families.
