Sandstone Point Hotel's Wheels By The Water Festival provides a unique opportunity to step back in time and appreciate the magic of classic cars. The event will take place on Sunday, September 25th from 10am onwards, where there will be all manner of vintage and classic cars proudly shining to perfection, and on display for the general public to enjoy.
Entry into the classic cars competition is $10 per vehicle, while entry for spectators to the classic cars event is $1, with all proceeds being donated to the local Volunteer Marine Rescue, a wonderfully worthy cause considering Sandstone Point Hotel's waterfront location overlooking Pumicestone Passage, Moreton Bay, and Bribie Island.
Wheels By The Water is a family friendly event with plenty of children's entertainment including live music and age appropriate rides set up across the sprawling lawns at the venue. There is also a great kid's playground on site to keep little ones busy. For the adults, there will be plenty of opportunities to join the festivities within the hotel complex. Apart from the in-house dining, which includes hamburgers, woodfire pizzas and of course excellent seafood, there will be a celebratory barbecue arranged especially for this event.
Sandstone Point Hotel is located on the mainland, just south of the Bribie Island Bridge and is also accessible by boat with its own convenient jetty located in front of the hotel. For more information about Wheels By The Water Festival or any other upcoming events please check the website below.
