Wheel 'n' Weft is hosting their popular annual Mother's Day Art & Craft Exhibition & Sale from Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th May 2019 at Thornleigh Community Centre. All are welcome to come along.
The passionate Wheel 'n' Weft craft group has been operating in the Hornsby district for a remarkable 43 years.
The passionate group hosts exhibition and sale events twice a year to raise money for various charities. The upcoming Mother's Day event will support Hornsby Connect - A hand up for people in need. This is a wonderful local community organisation which provides low-cost food for those experiencing financial hardship as well as a cafe facility with complimentary tea, coffee and cakes to enjoy with company in a safe community hub.
Over three exciting days this May, all are invited to attend the upcoming Mother's Day-themed exhibition and sale event which showcases many beautiful, handmade arts and crafts created by talented Wheel 'n' Weft group members.
There will be a wide variety of arts and crafts on display, including ceramics, glassware, jewellery, paintings, weaving, needlework, homewares, bags, toys and woodwork.
All the items will be available for sale at affordable prices and are not available elsewhere.
This is a great opportunity to purchase a unique handcrafted Mother's Day gift, plus there will also be cards, soap, sweets and preserves on offer as well.
Admission is priced $5 pp, which includes light refreshments.
The opening times are: Friday 3rd May 1-6pm, Saturday 4th May 9-5pm and Sunday 5th May 10-4pm.
