Wheel 'n' Weft is hosting their annual Christmas Art & Craft Exhibition & Sale from Friday 25th to Sunday 27th October 2019 at Thornleigh Community Centre.
The passionate Wheel 'n' Weft craft group has been operating in the Hornsby district for over 40 years.
The group proudly hosts an exhibition and sale event twice a year to raise money for various local charities. The upcoming Christmas event will raise much-needed funds for Hornsby Connect - 'A hand up for people in need'. This wonderful local community organisation provides low-cost food for those experiencing financial hardship as well as offering a cafe facility with free tea, coffee and cakes to enjoy with company in a safe community hub.
Over three exciting days, all are invited to attend the upcoming Christmas-themed exhibition and sale event which showcases many beautiful, handmade arts and crafts and wearables created by talented Wheel 'n' Weft group members.
There will be a wide variety of arts and crafts on display, including ceramics, glass, jewellery, paintings, weaving, needlework, homewares, cards, bags, toys and woodwork. All the items will be available for sale at affordable prices and are not available elsewhere.
With Christmas fast-approaching, the exhibition and sale presents a fantastic opportunity to purchase some lovely handcrafted gifts, cards as well as decorations and gourmet food items such as honey, sweets and preserves for loved ones.
Trading times are as follows: Friday 25th October 1-6pm, Saturday 26th October 9-5pm and Sunday 27 October 10-4pm.
