About Robert Henderson
Robert Henderson Wiradjuri came late to the artistic scene but has been prolific and creative in his output. For him, painting has become a means of expression and a compulsion to say something original and poignant. Robert's works are varied in nature and when discussing his works with people attending his exhibitions, I always find a great deal of difference between people about what they consider to be their favourite work. This is because every painting says something and there is always an opportunity for the viewer to find one that speaks to them.
Wayne Weaver enjoyed an international reputation before taking a hiatus that lasted 20 years. He has been an active participant in The Henderson Gallery since its inception. Now he is back as an artist with all new works.
Birrang Coffee is a lovely little cafe out the front of the gallery and also essentially part of the extended gallery space filled with artworks overflowing from the exhibition area.
