What to do in Melbourne Airport to Pass Time

Try to sneak into the Qantas Lounge
See if you can convince the staff at the front desk that you are a Qantas club member and have just forgotten your card. Or, hide yourself behind somebody else walking in. If you can manage to get through the doors, then you've really hit the jackpot. I've done it before and even saw the Prime Minister while I was inside. They've got buffet food, drinks, computers, lounges, playrooms, everything!
Put on perfume at Victoria's Secret
Victoria's Secret have arguably the best smelling perfumes ever. Go see how many you can spray on yourself before you start sneezing or the shop assistant tells you off.
Find the cheapest possible item
Go through every single store in the entire airport, and find the cheapest item possible. If you haven't found anything under $1, then you haven't looked properly - I hit the jackpot with something for 40c. Can you find it too? Once you're done, go through every single shop again to try and found the most expensive item possible.
Count steps
Can you tell me how many steps there are in the entire airport? Or how many steps you need to take to get from one terminal to the next? Or how about the number of steps it takes you to get past the travelator... Going in the wrong direction.
Talk to people
Who knows what you might learn if you muster up the confidence to have a chat with a stranger. The airport has such a vast range of people that walk through its corridors. This could be your chance to be inspired by somebody else or learn about a different culture. It's easiest to start the conversation with 'Hi, what destination are you off to?'
