In this article I want to highlight some of the small businesses that are alive and well in Elaine. If you're out on the road driving between Geelong and Ballarat, pop into the Railway Hotel, Elaine, for a meal or drink. Or stop and buy a pie and hot cuppa at the milk bar. The country town of Elaine appreciates your patronage.
This is a "feel good" article as it describes the decline and the rise of a small country town.
Located on the Midland Highway, Elaine, the Railway Hotel puts on meals 7 days a week. As well as meals, there is accomodation and you will find a friendly country hotel that is family owned and operated. Come to the Railway Hotel, Elaine and try their steak with garlic sauce.
Beverley has the fires going to warm you up during autumn and winter, while you dine on some good wholesome home cooked meals. Phone Beverley Townsend for reservations or bookings on 0353415645.
