The What on Earth Open Day is a FREE community event celebrating Western Australia's unique flora.
Taking place on Sunday, 25 August 2019 at Midland Junction Arts Centre, What on Earth Open Day features a jam-packed line-up of FREE art activities, live music, engaging public talks and more for the whole family to enjoy!
Come along from 11am and soak up the vibrant and festive community atmosphere.
There are plenty of FREE drop-in activities and workshops as well as paid workshops to join. Highlights include 'Native Flower Watercolour Painting' with local artist Sarah Thornton Smith; 'Papermaking' with Ingrid Mulder of Crow Mountain Paper Studios; 'Kitchen Clay Homewares' with local ceramicist Lee Woodcock and a 'Still Life Drawing'.

Part of Mundaring Arts Centre Inc.'s fourth 'Icon Project', What On Earth features a series of exhibitions, workshops, demonstrations and events exploring Australian Flora presented at both Mundaring Arts Centre, Midland Junction Arts Centre and locations across Perth.
The Open Day also celebrates the opening of Midland Junction Arts Centre's four new exhibitions 'Wildflower State', 'Botanic Philharmonia', 'Tableware' and 'Lush Valley'.
