Table Tennis
Table Tennis is a Game Enjoyed by Many - Photo by Acroll

It could be raining outside, or the sun could be out and there's not a cloud in the sky. You might not be in the mood to venture outdoors. Whatever the case, there's a myriad of games at your disposal to be played inside. But just which one is the best?

Trouble can be a highly engaging, heart-racing board game, in which the first person who throws a six gets to go first. The object of the game is to get all your pieces home as soon as possible, but not before they do a perfect 360. The first player who accomplishes such an extraordinary feat, wins. This game is pretty "closed off," which allows no room for cheating. The die cannot be removed from the centre, and so one cannot manipulate the way they roll.

If you're in the mood for something more physical, then table tennis is a wonderful way to kill time, or expel some energy that cannot otherwise be spent due to poor weather conditions. Standard tennis rules apply. Just be careful not to step on the table tennis balls, for they cave in and so will you if you don't have any spares while on a winning streak.

Traditional birthday party games can be played indoors regardless of the occasion. So why not have a game of pass the parcel or musical chairs for indoor games' sake?

Are there any other unusual indoor games you can think of, which many are not familiar with and are arguably the best? Please share your thoughts. We'd love to know.
