Sail like Sailors of Old
The sail training vessel One and All, built by W.G. Porter & Son Pty Ltd at North Haven along with a team of enthusiastic volunteers, was commissioned on 5 April 1987. Although based on an original 1850's brigantine, One and All is not a replica but is constructed of timber to modern standards and is owned by the South Australia Government for and on behalf of the people of South Australia.
With the charm and character of the tall ships of yesteryear, One and All offers the opportunity to experience what sailors across the ages have and the reasons that sailors fall in love with the sea. You can set the sails, helm at the wheel with the Captain or climb into the bow nets.
2019 marks the 32nd Anniversary of the commissioning of One and All and to celebrate, Chairman John Ford is curating an exhibition with the theme Wharf, Wind and Water at the Black Diamond Gallery, Port Community Arts Centre, 66 Commercial Road, Port Adelaide.
