kaurna park wetlands

This September 2021 school holidays, you are invited to join Green Adelaide Education Officers for a walk through the Kaurna Park Wetlands. You will learn about the history of the wetlands as well as discover the uniqueness of its ecosystem. Many native plants and animals call the wetlands home.

Your walk on Thursday the 30th will start from the wetlands carpark opposite Springbank Plaza Shopping Centre, where the nearest public toilets can also be found. Weather-appropriate clothing and suitable walking shoes are recommended.

So, if you're interested, please head to their Eventbrite website as soon as possible to register. Tickets are free, however, there is a limit on the number of attendees. Kaurna Park Wetlands is located along Waterloo Corner Road in Burton.

Your Comment
Kaurna Park Wetlands would be one of the best man made natural environments that I have seen. I recommend having a look after a couple of weeks of rain when the water holes are full.
