For starters, the presentation of a fish and chips shop can leave a lasting impression. The next is the service at the counter. When you have someone which is unfriendly and rude, you know that you might have walked into the wrong premises. And lastly, the cooking methods can leave a nasty taste in your mouth.
However, Westminister Fish and Chips did NOT tick any of these boxes. And the rumours I heard about this business were all true. They are one of the best Fish and Chip shops in town.
Apart from a clean and presentable interior, Westminister Fish and Chips have friendly staff and their cooking methods are top notch. There was no "old oil' taste on the chips. The chips were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, which is exactly how chips should be. Plus the portions were fairly large which meant you can easily feed a family of four for under $30.00 which include fish & chips for adults ($8.00) and kids ($6.00).
