10 WA Adult Only Accommodation Options

As adults, we like to have alone time - time away from work, responsibilities and our kids. When you are thinking about your next break from the everyday, romantic getaway, recharge time etc, why not have a look at the adult-only accommodation options - some only a short drive from the heart of Perth?

1. Hidden Valley Eco Lodges

Situated in the Perth hills in Pickering Brook is the beautifully appointed Hidden Valley Eco Lodges, just thirty minutes outside the city. Each of their Eco Spa Lodges has a king-sized bed, outdoor private heated jacuzzi and fully equipped kitchen - but if you don't want to cook they do have in-lodge dining available.

If you feel like venturing from your lodge, you can order one of their picnic hampers to take with you. Or if you'd rather some pampering, there is an on-site spa where you can indulge in a variety of treatments or spa packages - the spa is open Monday to Saturday. I visited their spa a number of years ago and can safely say I was fully relaxed after my treatment and didn't want it to end.

2. Empire Spa Retreat

Empire Retreat is located in Yallingup, part of the Margaret River region south of Perth. They have a small selection of rooms on offer that you can book alone with breakfast each day, or during the off-peak season - with at least 60 days notice - you can book one of two suite packages, which include breakfast, some wine, a gift hamper and treatments at their on-site spa.

The rooms they have on offer are - the Loft Suite, Courtyard Suite, Deluxe Balcony Suite, Luxury Villa and the Studio Suite. 3. Yallingup Lodge Spa Retreat

Yallingup Lodge Spa Retreat is an adults-only retreat and is situated on seven acres of untouched bushland in Yallingup, part of the greater Margaret River region, south of Perth. The retreat has been designed to retain the original charm within its natural surrounds.

On offer at this retreat are five spa suites, each slightly different - two of which are treetop suites, with a pet suite, handy if you want to take your four legged friend with you and glamping. Each of the spa suites has its own private rainwater spa, there isn't one at the glamping site though. They also have a large on-site pool available for all guests to use. 4. Lanterns Retreat Lodge

Situated in the heart of old Dunsborough is the luxuriously appointed Laterns Retreat, located within walking distance from both the beach and town centre.

Each of the spacious suites includes a king-size bed, and a large private ensuite - most with a double bath and free wifi. The upstairs suite has a large balcony that overlooks the lush gardens, downstairs has french doors leading into said gardens. Beyonderup Falls Country Escape consists of four secluded luxury self-contained accommodation chalets, hidden from each other, opposite the winter waterfalls are affectionately known as Beyonderup Falls.

Each of the deluxe chalets are perched high on the banks of the Blackwood River in Nannup, south of Perth and inland from Margaret River. 6. Chimes Spa Retreat

Located in Denmark, around a four-hour drive south-east of Perth is the architecturally designed, child-free Chimes Spa Retreat, in the heart of the Great Southern Wine Region.

There are only ten stylish suites, each featuring beautiful views of either the lush garden or the nearby ocean. They also include a spacious ensuite, double spa jacuzzi.
