Come and join in the park run each week at Westerfolds Park
Westerfolds Parkrun is a 5km free event held weekly on Saturday mornings at 8am at Westerfolds Park in Templestowe and is open to all abilities.

These weekly events are organised by Parkrun which operates in a number of countries and is organised entirely by volunteers who love running. Parkrun originated in the UK in 2004 and was brought to Australia in early 2011. Weekly runs now operate at various locations throughout all states and territories across Australia.
This weekly timed run is a great incentive to run regularly, get a time for a 5km course and have some fun in the process. This non-race event is a way to meet new people, enjoy the scenery and get fit.
The event commences off the main carpark in Westerfolds Park in Templestowe which is accessed via Fitzsimons Lane. Runners do a 5km loop of the park in an anticlockwise direction. The course is run on a shared walking / bike track and is an undulating course.

Results are emailed the same day of the run, and once you have registered, you can run in any weekly parkrun event worldwide. Great if you are on holiday or travelling for business.
There is also a monthly farmers market held at the park so you can even grab breakfast as well when the market is on - the 1st Saturday of each month from 8am-1pm.
Participants are required to register online and bring a print of the barcode generated via the registration process to the event. You will only need to register once and this needs to be done online.
