West End is a hive of activity this weekend with many events available to entertain everyone of all budgets. Here are five interesting and off the wall events happening this Saturday and Sunday December 7th to 8th.

To start things off The Brisbane Tarot School is hosting a workshop this Saturday from 10a.m. to 4p.m. Tarot cards have made a comeback since featuring in the [i]Harry Potter[/i] series and what better way to get into some divination with the one-day Tarot card workshop. A step by step class with take-home notes from your Tarot expert is on offer at the Ecclectica Esoteric Books and Curiosities, at 163 Boundary Street, West End. The Australian School of Meditation and Yoga are offering a two hour vegan Christmas cooking demonstration. The Vegan Christmas Feast runs from 2-4p.m. on Saturday and provides all spectators with recipes, cooking tips, that are hassle-free but delicious for the big day. This Sunday on the Cnr of Boundary Road and Russell Street is The Brisbane Vegan Market from 9a.m. to 3p.m. Entry to this market is FREE with a wide variety of locally made gluten-free and vegan foods available.
