The , or WETM, are a jamboree that has been in the makings for a while now. They're vision is stated simply and profoundly, "SUSTAIN::ENGAGE::CREATE" and are very much acted on at these solar powered markets.

Promoting organically (and locally) grown food, the soothing power of Jazz music and the eclectic style of multi-cultural West End, these Sunday morning markets are a present to the community.

Developing the theme of self-sustainable lifestyles, the WETM mandate is that recycled, reclaimed, handmade, bespoke, local, organic, fair-trade, and ethical traditions of production are the ways of the future!

As if to underline the "Unique Factor" of this bohemian suburb, registrations are now open for anyone interested in playing in the open Ping Pong Tournament, as well as currently holding a sort of treasure hunt that involves the shooting (with your camera!!) of pigeons that are being released over five weeks in five different locations around Brisbane.

To get involved in the interactive and seductive Twilight Markets, access their website , their Facebook or their Twitter , all of which have details about how to enter into the Bird Hunt, the Ping Pong competitions as well as application forms for aspiring stall holders. Performers and artists are welcome to promote themselves at the markets as well, simply contact the organisers.

Markets run from 4PM to 6PM every Saturday and start this weekend on the 12th of November and will be set up in the heart of West End, on the corner of Wilson and Boundary street near the Hi Fi bar.
