An event that is different - authors signing books
This is something just that little bit different! There will be 60 best selling authors under the one roof. These authors will be available all day for book signings on 3rd November 2018 from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
It will be held at Rendezvous Hotel, 148 The Esplanade, Scarborough.
The West Coast Fiction Festival is the idea of Perth authors Rachael Johns and Tess Woods. They thought that their hometown was the perfect place for authors and readers to be in the one place and celebrate their love of books!
They have an enthusiastic team of committee members and some sponsorship deals coming up with major booksellers and publishing houses. All this will happen at the five star Rendezvous Hotel and it will be a day and night event.
The West Coast Fiction Festival will feature authors signing all day long and this will be followed by a cocktail party with live music and dancing for both authors and readers. This is the first event of its kind in Western Australia and will be super exciting.
Why not join in and come for the books and then stay on for the live entertainment, art and craft markets, blind date with a mystery book ($2 donation), prizes, and loads more! After this, there will be the cocktail party with a live band and disco for both authors and VIP ticket holders.

The aim of this event is to raise as much money through ticket sales as they can. This, in turn, will bring about more dignity to the living conditions of homeless women in Perth through Share the Dignity. This women's charity works to makes a real difference to homeless women, as well as victims of domestic violence. Share The Dignity do such things as collecting thousands of pads, tampons and personal hygiene products every year for women experiencing homelessness and poverty. Without this help, many of the women would go without the basic necessities of life - things that most of us take for granted.
They also help fund funerals for victims of domestic violence which is a huge problem lately in the state of Western Australia and indeed, the whole of Australia.
The committee is made up entirely of volunteers, so all ticket profits will go directly to this wonderful charity.
