The West Australian Herpetological Society's Reptile Expo is on again and at a new venue. It will be held on 16 July from 10.00am to 5.00pm in the Claremont Showgrounds at the Tom Wilding Pavilion.

This family oriented event is your chance to come up really close to some reptiles you would normally not get the opportunity to do so.

You will get to see scaly and slithery creatures and be able to hold some as well if you are brave enough to. Not just the reptiles but with birds of prey and some cuddly animals to hold, this expo has something for the whole family.

You can learn more about our WA reptiles, through the talks and information sessions on offer.

Equipment will be for sale for those who are reptile keepers. Licenced breeders will be in attendance if you want to purchase a new live frog or reptile.

Food and drinks will be available for purchase or bring your own food and picnic outside on the grass.

Entry is only $5 for children with adults at $15 or get a family pass for $30. The pavilion is off Gate 8 from Ashton Avenue. There is plenty of parking nearby.
