Relax, get adventurous and retreat to the great outdoors
Expanding over hundred acres of magnificent native Australian bushland, Wesley Vision Valley is located in the north-east of Sydney in the suburb of Arcadia. It provides a beautiful setting for a weekend escape or retreat with your local church group, family, school group or friends, or even tourists who want to experience Australian bushland and activities.
Comfortable accomodation is provided in the form of lodges with several rooms, each with bunk beds- about ten in each room. Each lodge also shares a common lounge room, with facilities for tea and coffee; and a relaxing place to unwind or read a book in the evenings after sunset.
The large dining area and kitchen can cater for groups provided bookings are made in advance and they even accommodate for gluten free, vegan etc. The meals including breakfast, morning tea, lunch and dinner were wholesome, nutritious and tasty- perfect for camping or a relaxing bush retreat.
There are plenty of activities to engage in for adults and kids of all ages including splashing in the two swimming pools, water slides, bush walking, horse riding, rock climbing, abseiling, swinging, archery, canoeing, scrambling and other camp activities including camp fires and an outdoor amphitheater. The activities require a skilled instructor but there are some which can be self guided.
The picturesque backdrop of rolling hills with many trails you can wander along, rocky spots to sit and relax, a little pond with ducks and neatly manicured lawns provide an overall wonderful location to enjoy the Australian outdoors in any way you wish. In addition, the staff were wonderful- dedicated, friendly and helpful.
