Oueri Rock Pool is located in the southern part of Werri Beach. There are actually a couple of rock pools, one comparatively bigger than other, which are secluded from the main beach. Not far from the city of Gerringong, this place is surrounded by beautiful 360 views, rock pools, Werri beach and the Kiama landscape.
There are ample parking options, so you can easily park your car, head down to the pool for a dip on a warm day. On right side of the pool, there are the rock formations which Kiama is so famously renowned for. If you have energy left, you can go up the rocks and view how the ocean hits the rocks. This is also a good fishing spot.
On the left side of pool there is patch of rock surface forming rectangles, or irregular or regular polygons by fractures. After 5 mins of walking and you will be on Werri Beach, where you can have a swim or surf and you won't be disappointed.
Tip: Don't forget to park your car on the side of Geering St before merging into Fern St. The road takes a dip before going uphill and gives a nice opportunity for a photograph.
