You don't need to be a family with children attending the school to attend, all are welcome to come along and enjoy the fair. The day is jam-packed with over 20 commercial/gift/art stalls, fresh flowers, cakes, books and more. You can buy nibbles from the food stalls or grab a snag at the sausage sizzle.
The school Boarders will run a great stall selling gifts and regional produce brought in from the Boarder's home towns. Browse through a selection of citrus, herbs, free range eggs, honey, cheeses, olives, preserves and oils, jams and chutneys, nuts, oranges, biscuits, teas, cordials and much more.
Also available will be the only Australian produced, hand made Tumut Millet Brooms - as featured on Better Homes and Gardens.
There is a Carnival Corner for the younger ones , which will include games, rides, side show alley, fairy floss, snow cones, a gelato bar and lollies galore. Year One students will run the Lolly Stall featuring a range of well-known lollies such as Chupa Chup melody pops, Pez candy dispensers, Willy Wonka Nerds and Cadbury's NZ chocolate fish, ring pops, mini gumball machines and jelly bean filled water guns. Get in early to grab a mixed lolly bag. Clever ones can try out their guessing skills in the jelly bean competition.
If you have super active teenagers, then head over to the Year 6 Woodstock to find fun adrenalin pumped activities galore. Your young ones will love to have a try at the Skunk Shootout or Laughing Clowns. Wenona kids can take a shot at their teachers and prefects at the Dunking Machine.
On the Tennis Court make your way through the Olympic Obstacle Course, Big Balls- Wipeout Experience, Dual lane Bungee Running, and for little ones and young at heart, have a bounce on the Jumping Castle. Older kids and parents might enjoy riding the Mechanical Bull inside the Hall.
If this looks like your kind of fun, then to ensure you get access to all day fun on the rides by pre-purchasing online a rides wristband for $25. For single side show alley, the Dunking Machine or single rides you can buy tickets for $10 for three.
The Fair isn't just for the kids, this year the Year 9 group will be operating the W Bar from 11.30am - 4.00pm on the Walker Street end of the Undercroft . A nice space to relax while the kids run around. Grab a glass of sparkling wine, PIMMS, cold lager or sparkling water and nibble on a snack.
There will also be some fantastic raffle prizes.
