Be on the street of fun!

The streets are alive with fun. The festival celebrates the community and you can share a day of joy, fun and good food. Interact with your neighbours and learn a lot more about the people you might see every day. Have a drink, a dance and get involved in some other games too. If you are a local or are thinking of moving there, then head to the Wellard Street Festival .



It's a fun and free night for the whole family. Kick off your weekend with all sorts of things to do. There will be an Interactive Lights Installation, where there will be lots of different displays throughout the streets that you can get involved in and it will make the streets look completely different.

And if you want more, there will be a Circus Game Show that allows you and the games to choose the acts and play the games. When you take part, there are different performances with each adventure. Choose your acts, and play along. If you do play along, then you have the chance to win prizes!

You can also get the kids into the LED Hula Hoop Workshop. Learn how to twirl the hoops and make a really incredible light show too. But don't worry, the kids aren't the only ones to have some fun. Adults and people of all ages are allowed to take part.

If that isn't enough, there will be a DJ and a Silent Disco. So dance the night away either out loud or in silence. Hit the dancefloor and you will have a fantastic time moving and grooving.

For the kids, there will always be a face painting station. And when you are finished dancing and getting into the party spirit, then there will be a pop-up bar and food trucks. Try some of the delicious meals on offer, and have a drink too. You can also try something different or stick to the best, traditional street foods!

It's a night of fun and games for the whole family. Head to The Strand in Wellard to share some great times with your neighbours. It's free entry, so head there on Saturday, November 16th. The doors open at 6pm and will be finished at 9pm. By the end of it, you will have danced yourself silly and met all of the locals too!
