Christmas dinner is one of the most anticipated events of the holiday, after opening presents. Gathering around a well-laid table with friends and family and feasting on traditional favorites, Christmas dinner is often a memorable and joyful annual occurrence.

The internationally famous Weight Watchers diet has proven to be a successful way of not only dropping weight but keeping it off. Planning a Weight Watchers Christmas dinner, holiday dinner or other large gathering is not complicated. Doing much of the work as early as possible, you can take part in the festivities with your guests.

  • Salsa Beef Freezer Meal
  • Combine all of the ingredients, even the browned beef in a freezer bag and freeze. On serving day, thaw ingredients and pour into a Crock-Pot. Cook covered on LOW for 4 to 6 hours.

  • Italian Chicken Freezer Meal
  • Freeze boneless skinless breasts, package of dry Italian dressing mix and reduced-sodium chicken broth. On serving day, thaw then place in Crock-Pot on LOW for 4 to 6 hours.

  • Banana With Peanut Butter Burrito
  • Simply spread peanut butter and jelly on a tortilla wrap. Place a half on a banana in the middle. Fold the tortilla and microwave for 35 seconds. Serves 1 person.

  • Low Fat Peanut Butter Chocolate Candy
  • Melt one Hershey bar and peanut butter in a microwave. Stir in cereal. Drop spoonfuls on a wax-lined baking sheet and freeze until serving. Serves 8 people.

What really impressed me? The desserts. Around Christmas or really any large gathering, there are so many sweets. How can you be on the WW Diet and not be tempted? So, I highlighted the 2 best desserts of my opinion.

I am not on the WW Diet but their recipes interest me very much. As a matter of fact, I had a Peanut Butter and Jelly Tortilla for a mini-meal earlier without even knowing that the recipe is in this cookbook! I am being honest.

Then, what is not to like about melting chocolate and peanut butter, mixing in cereal and freezing by spoonfuls? Totally delicious.
Weight Watchers is now known as WW%%.

    I give this cookbook a 5-star rating.
