Researchers from the University of Melbourne need volunteers with hip or groin pain to test the effects of a weight loss and exercise program compared to exercise alone on hip pain.

Participants will be randomly allocated to one of two groups. Both groups will receive five free consultations with a physiotherapist and an individualised home exercise program.

One group will also receive six consultations with a dietitian and a weight loss program with free meal replacements.
