You've probably tried a yoga session in the park. Maybe a class on the beach. How about 258 metres above the ground? Sydney Tower Eye and Yoga by the Sea have organised a series of yoga classes on the Observation Deck of the tallest building in
Sydney and the 3rd tallest in
Australia .
Conducted every Wednesday morning, the Sydney Tower Eye takes you to the highest point above the city with breathtaking 360 degree views as the backdrop for your yoga sessions. Rays of the rising sun peeking around the neighbouring buildings and reflecting off the sparkling harbour waters are excellent accompaniments for your 45 minutes Hatha Yoga class.
Classes are led by Sasha Hawley, a certified professional trained in both Australia and India. She has taught yoga, tai chi, pilates and meditation in Europe,
Turkey , South America and Australasia for over 10 years and comes highly recommended by Sydney Soccer FC, The Sydney Roosters, Fitness First and Club Med. Your session will also include a healthy breakfast to complete your great start to the day. With the session concluding by 8am, residents can then go about their daily routine and tourists can continue to join the Sky Walk. To book your space, simply visit the website.
