Chill out on this rooftop with some jazzy tunes
Mid-week live music is one of my weaknesses. It's an itch I must scratch, no matter how much, or how little, music I've consumed over the weekend. One of my favourite venues to enjoy some jazz is Limes Hotel Rooftop Bar.
On Wednesdays, the bar opens at 5pm, and from about 7pm, a local jazz act will entertain you. It's free to attend, and there's food and drinks available at the bar. I've been coming to their jazz night regularly for about two years now and with many a friend I have shared the cheese plate and bottle of wine. They also have Corona buckets and $5 pizza for those with a different palate, as well as extensive cocktail collection, including the dark chocolate and passionfruit mai tai (pictured below), which I enjoyed recently. Yum!
