If you're looking to get creative and meet new friends in 2016, check out the exciting Brisbane Visual Arts Community (BVAC) workshop programme.BVAC is an umbrella organisation for 17 art and craft groups in Brisbane and these fun workshops are open to all ages and skill levels. Held on Wednesday mornings at Wellers Hill Arts hub, each interactive workshop presents a new artistic project and is hosted by a friendly, experienced and supportive facilitator.Running from 9.30am to 12.30pm, the workshops are held in a relaxed environment and all required materials will be provided in most cases.Upcoming classes focus on drawing, painting, printing, jewellery and accessory making, quilting, origami, enamelling, book-making, gift cards and much more. You can participate in as many classes as you desire and continue to develop your skills throughout the year.The workshops are affordably priced and bookings are essential.
