The best coffee in Glebe
Sitting in a hole-in-the-wall style position on a narrow side street off Glebe Point Road is The Wedge Espresso, a small cash-only cafe that boasts a relaxed vibe, a great menu, and among Glebe locals, the best coffee in Glebe.
Opening for the breakfast, brunch and lunch rushes, patrons can enjoy a range of coffee and tea while looking out toward the bustling main street of Glebe. The menu features delicious and wholesome cakes, breads, granolas, toasties, and sandwiches, with options for vegetarians and vegans (ask for no meat or cheese on orders). The Herbie and the Henry are both favourites among myself and friends!
The Wedge's staff are friendly and deliver a nice and casual vibe, and though the service can be a little slow, this gives time to enjoy the breeze that blows through the cafe on a sunny day and to enjoy some conversation, reading or people watching!
