Looking for something for the kids to do these school holidays when you can't afford to go out? Set them up online with these websites I have found for them to have play and look on, for about 30 minutes.
www.barbie.com The perfect website for every little girl, Barbie.com has games were you can create your own outfit, puzzles, design studios, singing, and dress designing. There are 6 different tabs full of fun games for your little girl to play. There's mini Barbie cartoon videos with dance lessons, bloopers, and DVD trailers. There is a fashion tab where you can make your own t-shirt with your photo on it, see inside Barbie's closet and more. There is also a very last section called "I can be" which lets you have a look at some of the Barbie dolls that are out.
This website will keep your little girls entertained for a while with all the different things to do and the endless amount of games to play. I rate it a 7/10
www.beaniekids.com This website will you keep your little boy or girl entertained with it's bright colours and fun games. Some games can only be played if you're a member, which is a free sign up process. There is adventure, sport, puzzles and learning games in the Beanie Kid Gamezone, including decorating and designing your own beanie kid which you can print out as well. You can check out all the Beanie Kids there is to own, see new releases, old favourites and limited edition bears. Plus there is a photo gallery where you can check out other beanie lovers collections. There is also a stockist map which lets you type in your suburb and lists of Beanie Kid stockists will appear in your area. This website will keep your child entertained and they'll certainly love it. My brothers love to go on this website when they get computer time on the school holidays. I rate it a 8/10
www.myskateboardinggames.com Keep your little boy (aged from about 7 and up) with this awesome skate board game website. Packed with heaps of different skateboarding games, they'll have an awesome time. There are games such as "Uphill rush", "Sewer skater", "Hungry Mice Skateboarding", "Kick Flip" and "Extreme Skater", your little boy will never get bored as he tries out all these different mini games. This website is spoken very highly of by my 10 year old step cousin, he goes on it everyday and says it is the most fun game he has ever played. He recommends "Uphill Rush 4" to any beginners as it is a very fun game. I rate it a 6/10
www.icarly.com Another site for the girls, icarly.com is packed with games, pictures, news, videos, songs and more. There are instructions on how to make your own web show and you can even send feedback and find out random information about the show and characters. The website is as much fun as watching the real show, there is nothing boring on this site. If your kid loves iCarly then let them have some fun on this website, they won't be disappoint.

Remember to allocate time frames and keep an eye on them to make sure they don't click away onto a different site they shouldn't be looking at.
