Event:
A relaxed evening of easy fun, connection and weaving

Our Songlines invites you to join them for a fun, intimate Sunday session of creativity, traditional skills and connection this October.

Open to all, the upcoming series of Weave & Yarn Virtual Workshops are an opportunity to immerse yourself in one of the oldest living cultures in the world from the comfort of your lounge.

Weaving is an ancient Aboriginal women's technique that dates back thousands of years and in this exclusive workshop, you will be provided with ethically sourced materials to hand-make a beautiful woven small basket.

It's easy to take part! Simply choose your preferred session: Sunday 11th October 2020, 1pm to 2pm; Saturday 17th October 2020, 7pm to 8:30pm; or Saturday 24th October 2020, 7pm to 8:30pm.

Then reserve your place at oursonglines.com/shop. Each session is limited to just 10 participants, ensuring you will receive a personalised experience and one and one guidance. Included in your purchase is a one of a kind weaving kit provided by the talented Ngumpie Weaving.

You will receive your kit before your chosen session. Then all you need to do is get comfy, hop online and meet the Our Songlines team and connect with new like-minded friends.

As part of the 90-minute experience, you will create a beautiful small basket, which you can showcase in your home or gift to a loved one.

The Weave & Yarn Virtual Workshop may just be the start of a brand new creative venture with Our Songlines. The 100% Aboriginal-owned business works with other First Nations businesses to provide a truly authentic experience. You can view their full range of creative workshops here.

Get ready to be inspired by the rich history of intricate First Nations textiles and gorgeous natural materials with the Our Songlines team this October. They can't wait to meet you!

Reserve your place today as spaces are extremely limited!
