In the words of JR Tolkien "Not all those who wander are lost". My passion and loves are my family, travel and writing. I'm fortunate to be able to combine all three for an extraordinary life adventure....

In an Australian premiere, 'We Make Carpets' has created an interactive and visual exhibition for children and families, as part of the NGV Triennial.

We Make Carpets for Kids is inspired by the creative possibilities found in your everyday items. These ordinary household objects have been utilised in their thousands, to create impressive mural displays of spectacular colour, depth, and eye catching visuals.

Children are also invited to create and design their own unique life sized patterned arrangements using a range of materials such as ropes and velcro.

The 'We Make Carpets' Dutch collective said 'We rely on a hands-on approach when creating our installations, continually creating repetitive patterns with materials until something beautiful emerges and we hope our arrangements of everyday objects offer a new perspective of modern life for visitors of the gallery.'
