Event:
Show your support for bushfire victims
A huge bushfire tore through the South West of Western Australia recently. In its path, many hectares of bush were destroyed as well as the small town of Yarloop. People lost everything and animals were burnt as well.

As a response to this tragedy, many people sprang to the assistance of those affected through relief fundraising.

Many musicians and the WA Events Industry Association banded together very quickly and have organised a huge concert on Sunday 7th February.

This epic concert will be held at Gloucester Park from 2.00pm to 10.00pm. As many people as possible are encouraged to come along to hear some great sounds from Angry Anderson, Mental As Anything, Dave Gleeson from Screaming Jets, Dave Warner from The Suburbs and Darren Reid and Soul City Groove and others.

Tickets are only $20 per adult and $10 per child.

This family friendly event is one way to show that you care as well as you get to enjoy some of the greatest music around.

All proceeds will be donated directly to the Lord Mayors Distress Relief Fund. Our Lord Mayor, Lisa Scaffidi, is even helping with this fundraiser.

This is aiming to be the largest fundraiser concert in WA history.

Food and beverages will be available onsite. No BYO drinks and no chairs please. You are welcome to bring along rugs and picnic hampers.

For tickets see Oztix.
