The frugal person's way of making flavored water
Water is not all that lively once you have had those 8 cups, for what seems like an eternity. However, there are ways to kick it up a notch. Below is a list of my favorites.

Lemon juice or lemon slices.
For the full effect, use straight juice. For a subtle effect, use slices.

Cucumber slices.
These make a cool and crisp drink.

Tea bags.
I personally use two tea bags in a water bottle without sugar. All you need to do is just plop the tea bags in.

Unsweetened Kool-Aid packets.
My personal favorite is grape. I personally use three unsweetened Kool-Aid packets.

Instant coffee.
I pour hot coffee over ice cubes. However, mixing instant coffee with cool water is much more convenient.

Cranberry juice/Grape juice/Apple juice.
Use a few splashes of one juice to give it that hint of taste, without all of that sugar.

Water enhancer.
Water enhancers such as Mio, Wyler's Light, True Lemon, etc.
The water enhancers are inexpensive, taste good and are healthy. There are some Mio with vitamin B, Wyler with vitamin C and True Lemon for the heart.

In Closing

If you do your own research, there are tons of options. However, the options online tend to be expensive, technical and just a hassle to prepare. The methods I have listed are easy, tasty and cheap to prepare.

The experts say to at least get in those 8 cups of water in a day, but even better, half of your weight in ounces.

I hope this has made your drinking of water more of a pleasure.
