5 Ways to Celebrate New Year's Eve on the Gold Coast

No one wants to sit at home alone and play solitaire on New Year's Eve. It's a night where you celebrate the year that has been and all the good times that were had. If the year wasn't the best, then you can celebrate by bringing in a New Year, full of possibilities and adventure.



I have developed a list of fun idea's and places that you can go to celebrate on the Gold Coast!

1. The Observatory. You get a fantastic view of the whole Gold Coast and all the fireworks that happen. It's a beautiful area too. Check out my review of The Observatory here .

2. Melba's On the Park.. If you feel like letting your hair down this New Years, Melba's is the place for you. They are hosting a Black and White cocktail event, costing $99, which includes a cocktail, premium food and drink package. It starts at 7pm. For bookings or more information call 55387411.

3. Coomera New Year's Eve Festival.. This is perfect, if you are looking for a more family based event. It is located at Viney Park, Dreamworld Parkway, Coomera and goes from 6pm – 9pm, with amusement rides and live entertainment. Contact: 55781101, for more information

4. Have a House Party. Stay away from the craziness that New Years can bring and make your own fun. Just think, the drinks are cheaper and the environment is exactly what you want, because you are creating it.

5. Robina Town Centre, on The Promenade . A great idea for groups of friends or families, just reserve a table at one of the lakeside restaurants. They have live music and entertainment on from 6pm to 10pm and even fireworks at 9pm.
