I enjoy writing about Adelaide and its many attractions. If you think Adelaide is boring,
the problem is not with Adelaide.

Waymouth Street has always created its own buzz, especially if the boss didn't come back from lunch on a Friday afternoon.
Even before 4pm you can find the laneways littered with smokers and their friends, while others lurk in lobbies waiting to catch up with mates.
At the earliest possible opportunity you will find workers sneaking away from the office to one of the pubs and coffee shops that pepper the area, to spread the stories and office gossip for another week.
During the Adelaide Fringe this is going to be even more apparent, as Splash Adelaide has scheduled three street parties on Waymouth Street for Friday February 22, March 1 and March 8.
Expect the usual suspects selling scrumptious street food, coupled with roaming theatre, and fine art vendors.
Be entertained by some sweet street theatre like The Mr Spin Show, Miss Genie, Space Cowboy and more; live entertainment from ShortStax, The Bearded Gypsy Band and DJ Trip; and roving performers such as Audrey & Audrey and Big Rory and Ochie.
Of course your old favourite places on Waymouth Street are not planning to be out-shined. You can expect staid stalwarts like the Union Hotel, Gallery Bar on Waymouth, and Bistro Dom to lift their skirts and join in the party.
The party runs from 5pm to 10pm each day, and on March 8 you can expect a special surprise with the Post Office Lane Market.
Given the size of Post Office Lane, I think fitting anything in there will be a surprise, so this is one event I will be eagerly anticipating.
