There are so many different activities for children here
Now that the hot weather is upon us and summer is well and truly here, we need to plan to do activities that are both fun and will not make us hotter. In particular, children need to be stimulated during the school holidays, and these events will do just that!

This is a full holiday program put on by the Waverley Council and they run from 7th January to 20th January 2019. The program includes both free and paid activities for children and young people.

These programs are on at The Waverley Library, the Bondi Pavilion, the Margaret Whitlam Recreation Centre and Waverley Woollahra Art School. All these programs are taken by a combination of Waverley Council specialist staff, artists, industry professionals and partner organisations.

It will be a diverse program which will include sporting classes, arts and crafts workshops, artist-led workshops, dance classes, film, theatre, and science and technology programs - in other words, these programs will have something for all interests.

At The Margaret Whitlam Recreation Centre, there will be a range of active recreation and sports activities. The centre has a multipurpose indoor sports court where there will be various activities that cater for children from 3 years of age up to 12 years.
