Anyone who says you can't swim in Darwin for fear of crocodiles, obviously has never been to the . This is a fun Darwin swimming hole that promises to be stinger and crocodile-free. A popular spot all year round, especially when the temperature soars. It is a great family spot, and a vibrant place that the locals love.

Don't let the idea of a wave pool scare you, there is nothing too rough here. Waves can get up to 1.7 metres, but there are a range of different experiences so that everyone can use the lagoon. It is great for boogie boarders to unsure toddlers. If you've got younger toddlers there is even a still water area for them to enjoy.

The waves at the pool run on a cycle, with a 10 minute break in between. You can always be guaranteed to get some waves, and it is just like being at a proper beach.

There are plenty of areas for just sitting back and relaxing as well. There are shaded areas available as well as facilities for eating, drinking, or using the toilet. There are also lifeguards on patrol in case of any trouble.

The pool isn't free to use, but it won't set you back very much, the admission prices are as follows:

Entrance Fee (as of 1 January 2014):
Admission
15yrs and over $7
Under 15yrs $5
Under 2 yrs Free
Seniors Concession $5
Family (max 2 adults & 3 children) $18

The pool is open daily except for Good Friday, and the pool is only open on the afternoon on Christmas Day. You can bring along boogie boards, noodles, and other fun pool gear, but there are no surfboards allowed.
