Cambridge Markets first started in Vaucluse in 2015 and have expanded in the Eastern suburbs to Paddington and beyond and are making an appearance in Robertson Park at Watsons Bay for the first time this spring. Right on the waterfront with wonderful harbour views, it will be huge with 120 stalls selling all sorts of wares that can't be found in your usual shops.
Cambridge Markets founders, Madelienne Anderson and Rebecca Fox, are all about sourcing beautiful quality products that are original and created by true artisans, from growers to designers and importers.
This seasonal market will be dedicated to boutique fashion, design, art, specialty craft and toys, funky children's wares, gourmet goods and organics. Falling in some of these categories are jewellery, ceramics, leather goods, beauty and health products, spring florals and succulents. The Mill Bowral is just one entity that will showcase their stunning apparel and home wares and it is in an amazing glamping tent from Me Jane Camp Out.
Rides for children will keep the littlies happy, along with face painting. Failing that, they can work off their energy running around this huge park.
It's all on from 10am-3pm, Sunday 17th September 2017, and there are a number of options that will get you to Watsons Bay, the most picturesque way being by ferry. Robertson Park is right next to the ferry terminal. Yellow Water Taxis will also get you there as will public bus routes 324 and 325. If driving, there is a car park opposite Watsons Bay Hotel as well as parking in surrounding streets.
So enjoy the spring weather and pick up a bargain or two.
