Try a Steak topped with Sait n Pepper Squid
The Waterloo Station Hotel is located at 138 Waterloo Corner Road, Paralowie, at the location of the former Charlies Dinner Restaurant. After a fire in 2011 the space was used to build a bigger and better restaurant.
The bistro called 'Roadhouse Grill' serves up steaks, seafood, and other pub style meals. But what makes this steak house different is the toppers.
When ordering a steak at The Waterloo you can order it with a selection of sauces including Red Wine Jus, Béarnaise, Pepper, Mushroom or Gravy, but you can also choose from a selection of toppers.
The toppers, ranging from $3.95-$5.95, include Garlic Prawns, Sait & Pepper Squid, Oysters Kilpatrick, Beer Battered Onion Rings, BBQ Bacon & Onion and Herb and Garlic field Mushrooms, or guests can try any two for $7. All main meals come with a choice of fries or a jacket potato and are served with Coleslaw and Caesar salad
The menu has an assortment of burgers, seafood, pasta and pizzas and for something a little different guests can add a pizza topping to their schnitzel.
At $19.95 guests get a choice of Beef or Chicken Schnitzel with either Margarita, Hawaiian, Mexicana, Italiano and Roadhouse Meat lovers topping.
For people who find it hard to choose they offer combos for $24.95. These include Steak and Prawns, Ribs and Wings, Mixed Grill and Sait and Pepper Squid, Schnitzel and Pasta or guests are encouraged to create their own combo from any two of the dishes.
Kids have their own menu featuring kids meals with a free soft drink and dessert. There is also an outdoor kids playground to keep them entertained. This is a great family venue, that makes good food that is close to home.
